Oxbow High School is happy to provide information about additional services offered in our community. Detailed below are a few of those services. If you require additional support please reach out to the front office, the guidance department, or any of those listed below. 

Little Rivers Health Care 

Amanda Regis, Clinical Social Worker 

Amanda is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the State of Vermont. She received her Master in Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of New Hampshire, with special focus on family systems, addiction, and domestic violence, while volunteering as a peer advocate for the Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program (SHARPP). Post-grad, Amanda spent five years working as a therapist in residential substance abuse treatment at Valley Vista, providing co-occurring substance abuse and mental health treatment on the adult women’s program, serving as the director of that program for two years. At Little Rivers Health Care, Amanda is currently providing individual and group behavioral health counseling services at the Bradford Clinic, and to students and families at Oxbow High School. 

Amanda’s therapeutic approach is primarily focused in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on Solution Focused Treatment (SFT). Other modalities include but are not limited to Mindfulness based treatment, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Therapy. She has experience working with clients of all ages, specializing in work with trauma, domestic violence, and substance abuse.
