Welcome to 8th Grade Core!
In an effort to help our students prepare themselves for the transition from middle school student to high school student, the 8th grade core team is changing our grading policy.
Starting this new quarter and semester, all students should, to quote the scouting motto, "be prepared." Organization will be a graded portion of every core class. What does it mean to be prepared for class?
Being prepared means students have:
1.a pen or a pencil
2.the appropriate class binder/folder/notebook
3.assigned class book or textbook
4.an independent reading book
5.an assignment folder**(This will be provided for you)
Extra Help Night:
Wednesday afternoons (2:30-3:15) in Mr. O'Leary's room.
